New Patients Guide
Our priority is to make your visits as stress-free in a pleasant atmosphere. On your arrival at our practice you will meet one of our reception members, who will ask you to fill out a questionnaire which will include information about your personal details and medical history (it would also be helpful if you could bring a list of any medications).
Then one our dentist will carry out a consultation and this is your opportunity to tell them if you have you have concerns regarding your dental health. We will aim to try and explain treatment options in a basic and concise manner but feel free to ask as many questions, so you do not leave with any queries.
Our dentist will carry out a mouth and dental examination:
Examination will include: examining teeth to check for warning signs of tooth decay and the gums for gum disease.
We will also Screen for mouth cancer
Radiograph (X-rays), if necessary
Then conclude with a discussion about examination and treatment recommendations applicable.
A written treatment plan and a cost estimate can be provided, if treatment recommendations are made.
With complex treatment options, we would normally require further visits to discuss the treatment plan options and costs.
